How does it work?
A lamp that alludes to electrical light, but with all the principal elements of traditional candle ilumi- nation. Its composed of two main glass chambers that hold a wax disk with the flame in its center. This will create a unique illumination within the wax translucency. As the wax disk melts from above, it fills the cavity in the bottom recreating the wax disk again. Its meat to be reused continuously. When the process is done, the lamp will rotate on its axis, to begin melting again.
Additionally, It is the flame itself that naturally works to ignite, illuminate and melt the lamp wax, working as a lampshade.
Prototypes
Though the lamp has a fixed design, the flame interaction will create a unique outcome each time. The lamp translates the beauty of heating and melting while providing a pragmatic repetable solution to be reused.
